The Best Buddy

Sandy woke up at 1 am, belatedly upset about their stolen gnome.

Sorry lady, it's too late too claim the Base Game bonus.  The Flamingos will be happy to have their buddy back, though.

Oh for crying out loud. Roux!  That was our brand new couch!  I guess Random would need to pull the old clunky couch from the attic.

 

Random was up early, whipping up a special batch of pancakes.

"Morning," he said when Sandy walked in the room.  "Hey! Breakfast is almost ready!"

 

Sandy rifled through  the fridge, grabbing a few strawberries and stuffing them in her mouth.  "What re you making?" 

"I thought I'd try a new recipe for some pancakes," Random announced proudly.

"I'm so excited you took the day off," Sandy said.  

Random grinned. "What's PTO for if you don't use it?" he joked.  "Besides, I have a big day planned!"

After cleaning up in the kitchen, he spent the morning making his first batch of Santa Cookies.

 

This was their first official party with all their buddies together, under one roof.  "Merry Snowflake Day," Random said, welcoming their guests inside the festively decorated home.

"Yeah, but I'm your best buddy, right?" Daniel teased.

 

Random laughed.  "Sure, you're my best buddy," he told her.  "But if Lyndsey asks, I'm going to tell her she's my best buddy!"

"Everyone, can I have your attention?" he called out, grabbing everyone's attention.  "Hey Babe, come here," he beckoned, reaching for Sandy's hand.

She gasped in surprise when Random dropped to one knee.

"I didn't know what else to get you for the Gift Giving Party, but I figured you'd like this," he said with a nervous grin, holding up a small, black box.

Random flicked the box open, revealing the ring nestled inside.

They exchanged vows in front of their friends, deciding not to wait for a formal wedding party.  Besides, Sandy was pretty darn pregnant and Random wanted to make sure his kids had his last name!

Once their guests left, the newlyweds spent some quality family time together.

"My present is kind of lame compared to yours," Sandy said nervously, passing over a neatly wrapped box.

 

Random tore into the box and found a dartboard. "Hey cool! I've been wanting a game!" he cheered.  "I can't wait to set this up outside"

 

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

 

UGH!

The excitement from the tree catching fire must have caused Sandy to go into premature labor.
