Random Officially Wacky Boolprop Challenge: My, How Your Garden Grows

Random was getting to be quite a salesman.

"It'll be the best time ever! You won't regret a second!" he dazzled Christy with images of the fun she'd have inside.

"SOLD!" she cheered ecstatically.

Buddy couldn't decide which toy he liked the best, so he played with them all.

"Ow!" Random grumbled, stepping on a surprisingly sharp rocketship Buddy left on the floor. He couldn't get to Ollie in the crib.

"BUDDY!" he hollered.

"Sorry, Dad," Buddy said as he started cleaning his toys up.

Random wasn't the kind of Dad that was gonna yell at his kid for jumping on the couch. "Jump higher!" he called out from the kitchen.

But, Buddy does need to go to school. 1st Day hopping onto the bus. They grow up so fast!

Random was so glad he'd finally convinced Jill to stay the night. Even better, he'd talked her into moving in.

"Last night was great, Babe," he said, kissing her goodbye.

"Have a good day," Jill told him.

Jill had a bit of a green thumb, being a long-time member of the Garden Club. It didn't take long for her to start digging in the dirt and landscaping the yard.

She loved the bright colors of the flowers and bushes.

"Joe!" she called her friend, bubbling with excitement. "You should come see what I did with the place!"

"What do you think?" she asked as she greeted him with a hug.

"Well now, let me call the boys over," he said, digging his cell phone out of his pocket.

The trio walked around the yard, taking notes and nodding their heads with approval.

Up until they reached the army of flamingos. Way too many flamingos.

Joe pulled Jill to the side and privately said the flamingos were quite an eye sore. "Any way you can convince your boyfriend to ditch the flamingos?" he asked quietly.

"'Fraid not," she confessed with disappointment. "He claims it's part of his legacy."

"So things are going pretty good, huh?" Danielle asked Random over breakfast.

"Hell yeah," Random agreed. "Jill is great, isn't she?"

"She sure is," Danielle said. "Think you'd ever consider..."

"No way," Random said quickly, stopping Danny in her tracks. "I'm no Romance Sim!"

Danielle chuckled to herself as she headed to work at how flustered Random got when she was going to ask if he'd consider getting married again. He thought she was asking about a three-way. She couldn't wait to tell Joe!

"Nice throw," Random called, lobbing the football back at his son. "Put a little more arm into it, though."

"Like this?" Buddy asked, pulling his arm back and chucking it at his Dad.

Random threw his arm up and flinched. "Whoa!" he yelped in surprise. "I gotta watch what I ask for!"

"Sorry Dad!"

"Hey, I'm headed to work. Listen to Jill and be good. Got it?"

"Sure thing."

"And clean up your room!" Random called over his shoulder. He would put money on the fact that the kid's room was a mess!

Jill cast around for something to talk to Buddy about. "That's a cute elephant you're painting," she told him, pointing across the room to the easel.

Buddy rolled his eyes. "That's Auntie Danny's!" he cackled with laughter, tickled pink that she thought he'd painted it.

"Oh," Jill murmured. What did one say to a 5 year old?

"Daddy told Auntie Danny that you were a Dream Date," he told her. "What's a Dream Date?"

"Oh?" Jill asked, her interest piqued. She probably should not pump her boyfriend's son for information, but she couldn't seem to help herself. "So.... what else did your Daddy say?"

"Oh, lots!" he said, taking a big bite of his sandwich.

Jill was absolutely in love with the lush garden she'd planted in the backyard. She couldn't wait to invite Joe back over. My, how her garden was growing!
